ERIS Experts - Stefan Borrmann

Prof. Dr. Stefan Borrmann is Professor for International Social Work Research at the University of Applied Science in Landshut, Germany. He is the Chair of the Society for International Cooperation in Social Work (SICSW). During the winter of 2004/2005 he was a visiting scholar in the School of Social Welfare at the University of California, Berkeley, where he conducted research into ethical dilemmas in social work. He has published two monographs on social work with violent youth groups, one monograph on theories of social work, and one on social work history and research. He is also the editor or co-editor of several other books. His main research interests are theories of social work, social work ethics and professional youth work.
