ERIS Experts – Peter Erath

Professor Peter Erath of the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt teaches courses at Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD levels in several European countries and runs seminars for agencies which are keen to improve their theoretical and conceptual standing. He has published books, book chapters and articles on social work theories, social work as a scientific discipline and social work management. He is currently undertaking studies and research on important theoretical dialogues in social work across Europe.

Peter Erath is a member of the Faculty of Social Work at the University of Eichstaett-Ingolstadt. At present he is also a member of the Scientific Board of the Faculty of Social Studies of the University of Ostrava, the Board for Doctoral Studies of Social Work at the same faculty as well as Vice Director of the European Research Institute for Social Work.
