ERIS Experts – Katarína Šiňanská

Doc. PhDr. Katarína Šiňanská, PhD. is Associated Professor at the Faculty of Arts of the Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice. She lectures courses in Theory of Social work, Training in Social and Psychological Competencies and Professional Practice (for Bachelor’s students), Social Work Practice in the Third Sector, Social Work Practice with Children and Youth, Social Work with Community, Community Art, Training in Social and Psychological Competencies and Specialised Professional Practice (for Master’s students) and Person in a Psychological Crisis (for PhD students). She specialises in teaching subjects focused on community development and actively works in this field of social work. Her most recent research activities are focused on the topics of social work in health care. The majority of her publications arise from participation in national and international research projects.
