ERIS Experts – Isabelle-Christine Panreck

Dr Isabelle-Christine Panreck is a Professor at the Catholic University of Applied Science in Cologne. She researches the following topics: politics and social work, democratic theory and history of political ideas (e.g., power and justice), and citizenship education. Her teaching focuses on democracy and its fundamental values, war and peace, power relations, and international history of social work (Bachelor’s) and participation (Master’s). She is a co-speaker of the section “Political Science and Civic Education” of the German Political Science Association.
