ERIS Experts – Barbora Gřundělová
Mgr. et Mgr. Barbora Gřundělová, DiS. Ph.D. works as Assistant Professor and researcher at the Faculty of Social Studies, University of Ostrava. At the Faculty, she teaches the following courses: critical social work, gender in social work with the family, alternative forms of families and social policy. Her research focuses on gender aspects in family social work, stereotypes and prejudices in social work, activation policy, street-level bureaucracy, social services, and community social work. She is a main researcher and co-researcher of national research projects and has participated in student research projects. She is currently working on a national research project focused on the involvement of fathers in family social work. She is the author and co-author of several articles in journals with impact factor. She took stays abroad in Austria and Germany. She speaks German and English.
