ERIS Experts – Annette Korntheuer
Prof. Dr. Annette Korntheuer, PhD holds a professorship in Social Work Theory at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt in Germany. Annette has a degree in Social Work and international experience working with youth and refugee populations in Germany, Spain, Philippines, and Canada. She was Principal Investigator for a Canadian-German research project on family education programs for refugee populations funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada and currently investigates participation in vocational education of refugee youth in a co-constructive research project (laeneAs). Her interests include inequality and inclusion in education and diverse societies, social work with forced migrants and qualitative, co-constructive and participatory research methodologies.
