ERIS Experts – Miriam Slaná

Doc. PhDr. Miriam Slaná, Ph.D. is an associated professor at the Department of Social Work of the Faculty of Health Sciences and Social Work of Trnava University in Trnava. She focuses on issues of disability and social work in health care. Currently she is the main guarantor of the study program Child Development and Family Studies. She lectures courses in Social work with people with Disabilities, Early Childhood Intervention, Social rehabilitation. She also conducts socio-psychological training focused on self-knowledge and communication, and social group work. She is a member of scientific councils and editorial boards of magazines at home and abroad. As co-researcher, she has been involved in several national and international projects.
